Visual

As an athlete, my coaches did lots of visualization training with us. This means we closed our eyes and visualized ourselves performing in the game as he called out the plays. Visualizing ourselves going through each play, and executing our part for the team prepared us tremendously before we stepped foot on the field.

Physically training our body for hours may have it benefits, but if we aren’t connected in our mind, our bodies will not perform the best it possibly could whether in the gym or during a game.

I apply this practice of visualization training in my daily life still, and I hope you can incorporate it in any area of your life as well.
