These tips helped me stick to my new year's resolution for the entire year of 2018!
No, I'm not exaggerating the entire year!
To be honest, in November of 2017 I began to map out all my goals for 2018 and it took me a good two months before the new year to be ready to put into action.
Now that I have gotten the swing of things I hope these tips help you accomplish many of my goals and aspirations (including beating depression and starting my own company!) so I'm sure you'll find them extremely valuable too.
- Create a Vision Board/Goal Sheet.
Putting pen to paper will be your best friend when actualizing your goals. We have tons of apps on our phones we use on a daily basis, but committing to writing out your vision for your resolutions, as well and seeing them visually helps in the creation process to visually see yourself manifest your thoughts to paper and then finally into action.
2. Don't skip more than two days in a row.
If you are pursuing fitness goals and recovering from an intense workout a tip to staying active through muscle fatigue is active recovery. For example, if you work out 5 days a week and notice your body may need more than 2 days of recovery on the third day try yoga, light weights, or a 30-minute walk.
